For industries that supply goods to customers, finding a packaging product that will protect your stock until it reaches the customer can mean the difference between business success and failure, and in some cases life or death. Styropack provides packing solutions for the safe transportation of products across a diverse range of sectors, from white goods and seedling trays, to fresh fish and human transplant organs. Based at five sites across the UK, the business relies on the efficiency of its plant operations to meet customer demand.
Sowga has worked with Styropack for over 30 years, supporting the company's expansion by installing machinery necessary to the day-to-day running of the business. The equipment within its moulding factories runs on a variety of services, including steam, water, compressed air and vacuum. Therefore, new installations or upgrades require a service provider with an in-depth knowledge of these mediums, who can guarantee compatibility with all associated systems.
Styropack is renowned for its expanded polystyrene (EPS) packaging trays and boxes, created by moulding machines of various sizes for mass manufacture and bespoke products. Sowga's familiarity with Styropack's plant operations ensures a continuity and efficiency that has helped our client's business go from strength to strength.
New installation work is led by our Mechanical Manager Sam Barron and supported by a number of Sowga engineers with extensive industry experience.
Over our 30-year history the following work has been undertaken:
