Working Supervisor – London

Overview:
Due to the continued growth of Sowga Ltd, we are recruiting for a Supervisor to join our team based across various sites within London. The role works Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.
In this role you need to be able to deliver the best service from your team of engineers but also liaise closely with clients to ensure that their requirements are fully met and that Sowga Ltd provides the correct standard of customer care and quality.
The Key Duties of this Role are:
- Liaise with clients to ensure their requirements are understood and fully met.
- Supervise all staff, both directly employed and subcontract, to ensure all works are being carried out to the correct standard of customer care and quality.
- Ensure that the contract is operated in accordance with the company's Integrated Management System, procedures, processes and work instructions.
- Ensure Health and Safety procedures and requirements are followed and met at all times.
- To supervise a team of engineers to an effective level to maintain high standards of performance at all times.
- To manage client and building users expectations and to aim for consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. Management of client relationship daily.
- Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance across all site's.
- To work safely on ELV/LV and generated electrical systems in accordance with all statutory electrical regulations and health and safety legislation and regulations as appointed Competent Person (LV).
- To manage additional capital works. Arrange sub-contractor attendance and provide detailed quotations, supervise work and carry out quality control and final sign off.
- To actively participate in the operation and control of engineering planned maintenance scheme and to complete all report sheets and test certificates where necessary.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical services on all associated mechanical and electrical plant, Planned Preventative Services and Reactive Works in time and up to date where required.
- To carry out M&E Services, extra works and emergency procedures.
- Ensure that CAFM systems and site records are up to date at all times reporting jobs to the helpdesk and in line with Helpdesk requirements.
Qualifications and experience required (Essential):
- ILM, CMI or equivalent in Team Leading Level II.
- Qualified to City & Guilds Level III minimum or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC discipline.
- Have successfully completed a registered apprenticeship or obtained the full requirements, including all knowledge and performance assessments, of the Level 3 NVQ Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC discipline.
- Completed 18th Edition I.E.E
- Good knowledge and clear understanding of Electricity at Work safe working practises and Memorandum of Guidance on the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
- Completed City & Guilds BS 2391 Level 3 Electrical Inspection & Testing
- Must be able to lay out and prepare work in accordance with Building Regulations and Water Regulations/Bye-Laws
- Completed unvented hot water systems training
- Completed F-Gas (Category 1) City & Guilds 2079 (desirable)
- Must have at least five years' experience working in there discipline.
- Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment Including: BMS / Generator / Controls / Lighting Systems / Plumping / Sanitary Wear / Drainage Systems / Low Pressure Hot Water Systems / Pressurisation Systems / Ventilation Systems / ACOPS L8.
- Knowledge and experience combined with valid Certificate on High Voltage systems (desirable)
- IOSH Managing Safely
- PASMA and IPAF 1b/3a/3b
- First Aid Certification (desirable)
