Bristol Based Maintenance (PPM) Engineer

Overview:

Sowga Limited have been providing Mechanical, Electrical, AC and Public Health Services over 40 years. As a market leading service provider, with an ever-growing portfolio. We are seeking a Bristol based Maintenance Engineer to strengthen the expanding team.

This role will carry the responsibility Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a variety of commercial and retail sites to a high standard of competency.

Job Specification:

  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs of plant on machinery such as water heaters, pumps HVAC systems, basic electrics, emergency lighting wiring etc.
  • Fault finding, diagnosis and rectification skills across a multi-skill application.
  • To carry out preventative maintenance schedules and ensure they are completed on time in a satisfactory manner
  • Able to communicate well with clients and tenants on site in a confident, friendly manner
  • Carry out reactive and quoted works, assisting in the gathering of information in these works.
  • Liaise with managers and supervisors regarding issues and resolutions to problems on site
  • Be on a on call rota

Relevant Skills/Experience:

  • An experienced multi skilled maintenance engineer with mechanical and electrical Qualifications.
  • A/C Qualified would be beneficial
  • Good knowledge and experience of maintenance in commercial sector
  • Experience working within the planned preventative maintenance delivery industry
  • Knowledge/ experience of BMS systems and associated controls
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Flexible in working approach to tasks
  • Current UK driving license

  • F-Gas qualified
  • Legionella awareness training

Salary & Package:

  • Salary: Negotiable
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
